Grandfathering refers to a Geocaching.com cache which was approved and subsequently had a guideline applied to prevent similar caches from being deployed. These include moveable caches and certain types of virtual or locationless caches. The caches are still allowed because their approval pre-dates the guideline. Are you......Sarah Connor? is an example of a grandfathered moveable cache.
