These are caches that are temporarily unavailable. Reasons for this include:
- There have been a series of DNFs on the cache and the owner wants to check to make sure it is still there
- There is some problem at Ground zero, for example, construction work, etc
Unavailable caches are usually made available within a month or so. Leaving a cache as unavailable for months is considered bad form.
