This page contains information specific to Geocaching Australia.
GCA caches created or edited as of 12/3/2007 will now have the Advanced Editor option, which introduces an inline Word Processor style environment for your cache listings (no HTML knowledge is necessary)

The editor has buttons to facilitate some of the following features:

  • Adding Links
  • Edit the HTML Souce
  • Inserting Images
  • change fonts/font colours/background colours
  • Proper formatting and Justification

The editor can handle direct cut and pastes from sources such as your favorite Word Processing Programs or Web Browser.

It is a modified version of the free FCKeditor (FCK is the initials of the author, not a contraction of a profanity)

Unfortunately the editor can be a bit slow to load on dial-up, but please be patient and wait for thwe page to finish loading before beginning to edit the cache data, the benefits make up for the lack of speed.

For HTML gurus, you can still choose to use HTML as an option when listing a cache
