About Geocaching
Geocaching is the free high-tech treasure hunt where you use a GPS Receiver to find Geocaches hidden by other Geocachers. It's a great way to be outdoors and enjoy the thrill of the hunt!
You don't need much to go Geocaching. At a minimum, you'll need to:
- visit a Cache Listing Site to find out where the nearby Geocaches are
- grab a GPS Receiver
- enter the coordinates in the GPS Receiver (or use some Waypoint Management Software)
- go and find the Geocache
- log it online
