About Geocaching
Geocaching is the free high-tech treasure hunt where you use a GPS to find geocaches (also referred to as 'caches') hidden by others. It's a great way to be outdoors and enjoy the thrill of the hunt!
Want an overview - Finding your first cache.
You don't need much to go geocaching. At a minimum, you'll need to:
- visit a cache listing website to find out where the nearby geocaches are
- grab a GPS
- enter the coordinates in the GPS (or use waypoint management software)
- find the cache
- log it online
