Caches listed on GCA

The Geocaching Australia website maintains and displays a database of geocache listings for:

• caches hosted specifically on Geocaching Australia (these caches have a GA prefix);
• plus some caches hosted on other cache listing websites.

Some (but not all) caches hosted on other cache listing websites are also available on Geocaching Australia (GCA) for consolidated searching logs, ratings and statistics of both GCA and non-GCA caches.

Caches hosted on other sites are added into the GCA database by the following mechanisms:

• All unarchived geocaching.com caches located in Australia are updated daily
• Other caches outside Australia are "discovered" by GCA when users upload logs.
• Do any caches from other cache listing website get automatically synchronised to GCA?

Cache Pages for non-GCA caches display limited information and contain a link to the Cache Page on the original hosting website.
