Description

A cache description can be as verbose or as sparse as you desire.

Please bear in mind that the better your cache description the more chance you have of people taking the time to seek yout cache.

Example 1:

A micro hidden in a log.

This is not likely to get many people's hunting vibes going. Well, unless they are a complete numbers whore (and yes there are some of us out there). It's boring, it's mundane and probably (but not always) reflects the quality of the cache container and the hide.

Example 2:

A micro cache hidden in a log beside the highway. You probably won't need to get out of the car to find this one. Watch out for the brambles and the thorny bushes.

This is not likely to get many people's hunting vibes going either. It's descriptive enough, but doesn't give you an inclination to actually get out there to find it.

This is more likely to get many people's hunting vibes going. It tells the story of what to expect when you get there. It also provides an incentive to find this cache as you may be interested in looking at the views as well as logging a cache.
