GCA provides, on the cache page, a link to be able to be verify your calculated co-ordinates for a cache, be it mystery or multi. You can find the link to co-ord checker in the navigation bar to the right on a cache page (if it's been activated).
You can use evince code on your cache page if you like, GCA just decided that it would be nicer to have the co-ord checker on the same site. That way your co-ord checker will not suffer if the other site goes down.
