Logging a cache on Geocaching Australia is really easy.

Determine where the cache is listed

Once you have found a cache you will know its name and possibly waypoint number (GAXXXX). If the Waypoint number begins with GC the cache is listed on Geocaching.com and should be logged there.

Logging a cache on Geocaching Australia

You need to have a forum login and a cacher name set up before you can log your found cache. Once you have these, visit Geocaching Australia and type either the cache name, cache owner's name or waypoint in the search box at the top right of your browser window.

You may get a list of matches to your search term, if so, select the cache from the list by clicking the cache name. Take note of the description. If it reads: This cache is listed on another site. Please refer to the 'Additional Information' column on the right., click on the word 'Groundspeak' near the top of the right column as you have found a cache listed there.

If there is a cache description, click on 'Log this cache' to go to a 'New log' page, select the log type, write your story and press Add.
Use either the browser 'back' button or right click with your mouse and select 'back' to return to the cache page.
