Introduction
Welcome to the Geocaching Australia Wiki. We hope to use this to collect, manage and communicate useful documentation about Geocaching and Geocaching Australia.
About Geocaching
You don't need much to go Geocaching. At a minimum, you'll need to
- visit a Cache Listing Site to find out where the cache is
- grab a GPS Receiver
- enter the coordinates of the cache in the GPS Receiver (or use some Waypoint Management Software)
- go and find the Geocache
- brag about it in the forum
- Then Drink BEER !
Guide for Geocachers using this wiki
To read stuff, just click on the links as normal. If you want to edit a page, click the edit tab on the top of the page. You'll see some stuff which looks like phpbb code. Just have a look at what's there and you'll get the hang of it. Enjoy!
