You don't need much to go geocaching. At a minumium, you'll need to visit a cache listing or cache information site to find out where the cache is, then grab a GPS Receiver and go and find the cache! (There's a few exceptions to this where people haven't needed to turn on their GPS because the cache's location was so obvious!) To improve your geocaching, you can also look at maps, use Waypoint Management Software, and ask other geocachers for help in the forum.
