The cache review process used by Geocaching.com ensures all caches listed there meet the guidelines. The guidelines are a set of rules formulated by Groundspeak and are applied to all caches.

A cache is visible only to the reviewers until is is approved. At that time it becomes visible to all geocachers. There is no way to schedule a cache becoming visible after it's reviewed except by arrangement with the local reviewer(s).

Caches listed on Geocaching Australia do not require any approval.
