Haystacking

Haystacking is the act of hiding a cache in a location where there are many possible similar hiding locatons. This makes finding the cache a bit like finding a needle in a haystack, hence the term haystacking.

Haystacking is not generally considered to be cache hiding best practice but there are plenty of good caches using this technique. Many cachers detest this hide method, however.

A common example of haystacking is hiding a cache container in a pile of rocks.
