Regions
Victoria is split into a number of geographical regions all of which have their own unique aspects.
Finding Caches
Searching
To find geocaches that are in the various regions use the Search_function on Geocaching Australia and enter the name of a town which is located in that region. You cannot search on region names.
Recommended Caches
Recommended Cache Search for Victoria. Geocaching Australia has a Recommended Cache function which finders of the cache can use to recommend this cache to other geocachers. See Recommended_cache. Recommendations are not based on any given criteria but are nominated into the system based on the preferences of individual geocachers. Read the logs of the cachers that have recommended a cache and see if their experience in like what you would like yours to be.
Hiders Choice
Hider's Choice Cache Search for Victoria.
Geocaching Australia also has a Hider's Choice cache which is a cache that the hider believes warrants special attention to those seeking caches in the area. See Hiders_choice_cache.
